Doug Duncan has lived and worked in Atlantic Canada for more than 40 years. He has been a pastor at Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church (LEFBC) since December 2013. While new to LEFBC, Doug has served in ministry for some 20+ years. He currently serves as the primary communicator and Bible teacher for the congregation. While he holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Acadia University, he would consider himself to be a “forever student” of the Bible. Doug and his wonderful wife Kim have two teenage children, Julie and Megan. Doug’s goal is to grow in the fullness of Christ love and to make the love known to others (Eph 3:19).
Scott has been serving in his role as associate pastor over family ministries at LEFBC since 2008. He is a graduate (1999) of New Brunswick Bible Institute. Scott served in an interim position as a youth pastor (1999-2000) and then served at a camping ministry in NY (2000-2005). He enjoys helping children and youth, the whole family, grapple with and hopefully gain an understanding of the gospel of Christ. Scott’s goal is that we would all learn to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. One of his favorite verses is Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit”. Scott is married to his beautiful wife Heather, and they have two wonderful children, Maggie and Caleb.
